Deepak Foundation was initiated in 1982 with a vision of providing healthcare facilities to the families of workers and local communities residing in the industrial area of Nandesari. The Foundation has progressed over the period into a leading non-profit civil society. With a Pan-India presence, it has branch offices in Pune, Roha, Palghar and Aurangabad in Maharashtra, Hyderabad in Telengana, Dumri, Arki, Kuchai and Madhuban in Jharkhand, and New Delhi.
Creating a socially inclusive and sustainable environment among the underprivileged communities by providing services in the area of healthcare, education, skills building & livelihood, and disability & special needs. We envisage a world free of distress, disease, deprivation, exploitation and subjugation, ensuring the overall well-being of the family, society and community. The overall goal of Foundation is to empower women by providing healthcare and livelihood opportunities in order to improve maternal and child health, reduce poverty and build capacity in the areas of public health and livelihood promotion, and provide an inclusive environment for children with special needs.
The organization is driven with an overall objective to build capacities of grassroots health functionaries and establish effective public health systems through research and surveillance thereby, focusing its efforts on key main areas of intervention including healthcare delivery, building livelihood opportunities and promoting education.

Deepak Foundation conferred with NGO leadership Award
On September 27, 2018 , Deepak Foundation was bestowed with NGO Leadership Award at Gujarat Brand Leadership Awards 2018 for its valuable contribution towards the upliftment of society. The award was conferred in presence of Dr R.L. Bhatia, Founder of World CSR Day & World Sustainability at Radison Blu Hotel, Ahmedabad. The award ceremony witnessed the presence of various renowned corporates, educationalists, and NGOs.
State Consultation for Stakeholders in Gujarat
Gujarat State Child Protection Society (GSCPS) along with Udayan Care, New Delhi and UNICEF is undertaking a Documentation Study on “Documenting Current Aftercare Practices (CAP)” in Gujarat with Deepak Foundation being the state study partner. This study was launched on 4th and 5th December 2018 in Vadodara, Gujarat. The consultative process with various stakeholders involving DCPUs, CWC, various CCIs and after care youths helped in evolving recommendations for a strengthened Aftercare system that supports care leavers in the State. The consultation also aimed to capture best practices and challenges to improve the current Aftercare practice in the State.
Blood Donation Camp
Deepak Foundation organized a blood donation camp for the employees of the organization on June 14, Friday, observed as the World Blood Donor Day. A team from Blood bank, Shri Sir Sayaji General Hospital (SSG) collected the blood units which will further be used as and when required.
Over 120 visually impaired children from across Gujarat to participate in state level chess championship, hosted by Samaj Suraksha Sankul in association with Gujarat Chess Association. This was for the second consecutive time, that Sankul hosted the tournament at its premises.
Samaj Suraksha Sankul placed a Children Home for Boys (CHB) child in a foster care family yesterday on June 14, 2019. It is first time in Gujarat that an institute has completed the process for foster care facility and succeeded in it.
