Deepak Medical Foundation

Deepak Medical Foundation, Nandesari

Deepak Medical Foundation hospital was set up in 1982 to provide medical and health care facilities to the community in and around Nandesari Industrial area which included the industrial workers and their families and also the rural people from nearby villages. It started with a small mother and child clinic, which later developed into a full-fledged 36 bedded multispecialty hospital. The hospital is recognized by Government of Gujarat for providing services under various schemes such as “Janani Shishu Suraksha Karyakram (JSSK)” scheme.

DMF has skill-based professionals like General Surgeon, Gynecologist, Pediatrician, Dentist, and Ophthalmologist. A fully equipped diagnostic and pharmacy centre is also available. It has an Integrated Counselling and Testing Centre (ICTC) in partnership with Gujarat State AIDS Society (GSACS). The local community now receives multi-specialty Out-Patient Department (OPD) and In-Patient Department (IPD) services along with diagnostic and pharmacy services at a very nominal rate keeping in mind the vulnerable status of the population in the area.

With the rise of COVID-19 cases, Deepak Medical Foundation took a very prompt step to help the needy by converting Foundation Hospital into a fully functioning Covid Care Centre benefiting the community with the provision of Oxygen, Ventilators, and other facilities necessary for covid treatment.

During the second wave of COVID-19, the Medical Team was successful to provide treatment to patients coming from Nandesari and nearby cities like Anand, Bodeli in Gujarat.
